Waldorf retiree wins $200,000 on Ravens scratch-off ticket at Charlotte Hall

CHARLOTTE HALL, Md – A Waldorf man set out to buy his family book Powerball and scratch cards expect the same results as always. This time, however, things turned out differently as he won $200,000 Ravens X10 Grand prize winner.

When asked what drew him to this particular ticket, the federal government retiree told lottery officials that he likes to buy newer tickets. The Ravens X10 Ticket, which launched in August and had eight top prizes remaining at the time, was a prime contender for its scratch-off niche.

While still in the store, he scratched and scanned the ticket. He knew immediately that he had won $200,000 but kept his cool. He then took the ticket home to show his wife.

The winner said he doesn't have any plans for his prize yet and as long as he can spend time with his wife and family, everything will be fine.

The lucky 7-Eleven store at 29969 Three Notch Road in Charlotte Hall will receive a $1,000 bonus for selling an instant ticket with the top prize between $100,000 and $1 million.

Non-winning $10 Ravens X10 and $2 Ravens X2 Scratch-off tickets can be entered into the Ravens 2024 Second Chance promotion. Players can still win prizes such as $10,000 in cash, Ravens season tickets or 20-year seats. New this year is the chance to play Pass for Cash with former Ravens players or be named Fan of the Game and win cash for Ravens touchdowns at home games.
