If you took a break from the Shaq Shimmy in Fortnite and looked at Myles, you'd know he's up to big things. He models for Bvlgari, released one of his best headbangers “Alerta” and had back-to-back performances. And now he casually announced the big news. Shaquille O'Neal and his oldest son are in Baton Rouge for the LSU homecoming parade. Between live shows, podcasts and parties with the Tigers, Myles revealed a huge partnership. What's up?

In a seemingly casual Instagram post outside a supermarket, Myles was seen holding up his Monster Energy can. He titled his post “I'm officially signed to @monsterenergy and going on tour! Baton Rouge, you’re up first, baby, let’s cook.”

In the video, the 27-year-old said: “Yes sir, we've been working on this for a while. I can finally announce that we are officially signed to Monster. We're going on tour, I have my monster. We are… where are we? We're in Baton Rouge tonight for a doubleheader – Fred's and LSU Campus. Greetings to the monster family, greetings to my boy Dingo. Everyone who supported me and stuff. I’m really excited about it.” He said this and took a sip of his drink from the $45.6 billion company (subject to hourly changes).

But did you know that Shaq had endorsed Monster Energy's rival, Bang Energy, five years ago? Well, in 2019, Shaq's Fun House shared the following on Facebook: “SHAQ’s most popular energy drink, @bangenergy, was our first sponsor, pulling up in Miami, Florida in a fully branded Jeep.”

What's interesting is that Shaq also partnered with a beverage brand in 2013 to launch his “Soda Shaq” line. It was released in different flavors such as Vanilla Cream, Blueberry Cream, Strawberry Cream and Orange Cream. The idea behind it?

A large can with Shaq's face staring back at you as you consume the all-natural drink. He invented his own drink at a time when Kobe Bryant was endorsing Sprite and so many other names endorsing Gatorade. However, that is in the past. What's next?

What are Shaquille O'Neal and Myles up to?

In collaboration with Monster Energy, Myles launches the Flashlight Tour in the city where Shaquille O'Neal became a national star. Myles accompanied his father on a tour of Europe this summer on the Summer of Bass Tour, debuting with the O'Neal Boyz, EDM's first father-son duo. They're back on the Tigers' pitch, where Myles is starting his first solo tour.

Shaquille O'Neal returned to his old stomping grounds for the LSU homecoming. The 100-year tradition continues with a parade and a concert. And like DJ Diesel does with Myles almost every year, they'll heat up the bassists of this college town with a double-header on October 11th. After their performance at the LSU football game, they will be at the famous Fred's Bar. However, this time they will take on the UREC Field Complex on Gourrier Avenue a day before the game.

Next up, Myles heads to Las Vegas for some post-Halloween craziness at Club Ego on October 31st. A stop at the Darna Lounge in Arlington, Virginia follows on November 1st, and returns to Los Angeles to perform at The Torch on November 9th.

These are the only dates announced so far and he has not indicated whether the tour will be extended. But Myles is already off to a great start. What do you think?
