Light showers or showers are possible across the Twin Cities this morning through midday, with the greatest danger over the northern suburbs. Skies will become partly cloudy this afternoon with highs in the 60s and east winds 5 to 15 mph. Partly to mostly cloudy tonight with light winds until 4 a.m. Sunday, then increasing northwest winds 15 to 25 mph after 4 a.m. Sunday with lows in the mid 40s at sunrise Sunday (7:27 a.m.). .

Sunday will be much cooler and windier, with a mix of clouds and sun and a slight chance of a scattered shower or rain. Highs in the mid 50s with northwest winds 15 to 25 mph. Partly cloudy Sunday evening with easing winds and a few light frosts Monday morning with lows in the upper 30s.

Monday will be cool again with windy conditions in the afternoon and partly cloudy skies with highs in the low 50s. Clear and cool Monday night with light winds leading to widespread frost and freezing conditions with lows in the low to mid 30s through Tuesday morning.

Beautiful fall day on Tuesday after a cool start with sunshine, lighter winds and highs in the mid to upper 50s.

Warmer Wednesday with sunshine and highs in the low to moderate range, then near 70 degrees Thursday with sunshine and windy conditions – there may be an increased fire risk Thursday due to dry conditions, warm temperatures and gusty winds.

Friday will be warmer with highs in the low to mid 70s and partly cloudy skies, then scattered showers in the late afternoon and T-storms late afternoon into the evening.
