1 minute, 16 seconds Read

The drama between the No. 21! It was more of a heated contest than expected when the Connecticut Sun visited the Target Center for game two against the Minnesota Lynx in the playoff series. After the Lynx had already suffered a heavy defeat in their previous game, Minnesota was now under pressure to deliver a strong performance in front of their home crowd. Whether it was pushing their limits or playing a little more intensely, they seemed willing to do whatever it took to secure victory.

The Lynx delivered a commanding performance, but the real story came when both teams' No. 21s – DiJonai Carrington and Kayla McBride – nearly turned the game into a physical showdown. As Carrington, the Sun guard, tried to rally her team by weaving through the Lynx defense, she nearly fired a two-point shot from beyond the arc. But in a flash, McBride rushed up and tried to block the shot. She ripped the ball right out of Carrington's hands and let the sunshade fall to the ground.

The drama escalated when Carrington wasted no moment in getting back to his feet after that serious fall. The security guard seemed ready to pounce on McBride to settle the score. Luckily, Marina Mabrey intervened just in time, blocking Carrington's path and preventing the situation from spiraling out of control. Surely everyone was holding their breath to see what would transpire between the two No. 21 players.
